I am, first and foremost, a writer. I am currently studying English, and enjoy it more than one should. My current obsession is a little golden-haired, Italian vampire by the name of Aurelius...and you will soon see him springing to life here on DA. I am hugely inspired by music. I find music to be the most profound expression of the soul, and poetry, as spoken music, is a part of that.
I believe in love. Of all things in this world, I believe most in love, no matter how it expresses itself. Love is unstoppable! I recently lost the love of my life to death, but I firmly believe that love will always conquer all things, even death.

So...I just realized, as I sat here, that it has been exactly one year since Brad died. I am completely blown away by this realization, namely because the night He died, I was fairly certain that I was going to die, too. I am full of love for Him, and I am grateful for the chance I had to have Him in my life. I learned so much. I grew so much. I can never express the gratitude I feel at having had Him for as long as I did.

Ok, so here's the deal...my brain is in serious need of something beautifully creative. I want to write, but at the moment seem to be suffering from an overwhelming amount of...nothingness. It's driving me bloody mad! At any rate, I want a project to which I can and must entirely dedicate myself. Hmm...Time for something new! I just need to wrap my head around such a thing. *strokes chin*
